MY STORY
I used to be just like any other street dog - playful and full of that irrepressible spirit that made me chase anything with wheels. Motorbikes, cars, tuk-tuks - if it moved, I was determined to catch it!
But one day, my love for the chase met something much bigger than me. I believe someone saw me coming and made a choice that changed everything. The fear that washed over me when I realized I couldn't feel my front legs was unlike anything I'd ever experienced.
The veterinary team worked tirelessly to help me during my hospital stay, and slowly, I began to adapt. What else could I do? I'm still me, after all.
Now I've discovered I'm quite the kangaroo-hopping champion! And when I want to explore beyond my special care enclosure, I have my own set of wheels that lets me zoom around the sanctuary. Here, being different doesn't make me less - it just makes me uniquely me.
