MY STORY
Something traumatic happened to me. I was hit by a speeding vehicle and left with a really serious injury – a broken spine that made the simple act of walking impossible. Thankfully, a kind local feeder found me dragging my hind legs and brought me to the Soi Dog hospital for treatment.
At the time, I was happy to have survived, but I was also really scared I might never be able to run and play again. The team of doctors and nurses here worked really hard to help me heal. I have something called ataxia, which means I wobble when I walk. Oh boy, am I ever grateful that there were animal lovers out there who didn’t give up on me when I needed hope the most.
Now, not even my ataxia can stop my zoomies! I zig and I zag in my own style and flash my best cheesy grin. I’m a puppy at heart because I feel safe and happy as a sanctuary resident.
HOW YOU’LL HELP A DOG LIKE ME
Because of our injuries, dogs like me need a safe place to live. If I was back on the streets, my ataxia would leave me at a greater risk of being hit by a car again. By sponsoring a special care dog like me, you are helping to provide a safe home and any special treatment we might need.
