MY STORY
I always believed I was a really good boy, but one day my human left me behind. I never imagined my moments of uncertainty around other dogs would mean goodbye. I guess my giant smile and human-loving heart were no match for my ‘scary’ exterior. Confused, I watched my life as I knew it disappear down the road.
The kind people who found me were wary, but I quickly flashed a friendly grin so they wouldn’t be afraid. Despite my best efforts to look like a happy boy, I couldn’t hide the heartbreak in my eyes.
Once safely in Soi Dog's care, I realised my future could go one of two ways - I could lock up my heart and refuse to let another human in. Or, I could open up wide and welcome more people into my heart. I chose the second path.
It’s been a few years, and the sanctuary is my home and the people here show me as much love as I show them every day.

Looks aren’t everything but dogs like me are judged for the size and shape of our bodies, not our hearts. Some of us need a little extra support to be the best good boys and girls we can be, but who doesn’t need a helping hand sometimes? Our special needs don't make us undeserving of a safe, comfortable and loving home.
Your sponsorship means that I, and so many dogs like me, will have access to the compassion and guidance of the Behaviour Team when we need a bit of extra support. It means will have a home where we can be ourselves, where every meal is a certainty, and loving care is a priority.
