Hi! I’m Marcita, a curious, charming and friendly girl looking for a home.
When I was just three months old, a fellow street dog attacked me, puncturing my leg in four places. Terrified and wounded, I took refuge underneath a car and cried out in pain. Luckily, a kind person heard me and came to my rescue. With their help, I was brought to Soi Dog where I received all the care I needed to make a full recovery.
I can be tentative and unsure at first. I’m a dog who needs a bit of time to assess new situations and people before feeling fully comfortable. However, once I’ve adjusted to my new world, I’ll be a delight as I enjoy my walks and like saying hello to people I know along the way. My curiosity does get the better of me sometimes, so I shouldn’t be around small animals like cats. I also take a special urinary diet.
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
