Hi! I’m Tanatos, an affectionate and sociable girl looking for a home.
I was in a sorry state when I arrived at Soi Dog, as you can see from my entry photo above. The biggest problem was a tumour in my right ear. In order to remove it, the vets had to remove my entire ear canal. That’s why my right ear sits flat and why I sometimes tilt my head. I also have an ongoing case of dry eye which causes some discolouration to my right eye (as well as a cheeky wink sometimes).
The staff here have assured me that these quirks make me unique and that, coupled with my personality, they might even be the reason someone falls head over heels for me!
Despite the hardships I’ve faced in my life and the physical differences I have, I’m always smiling. I even had a grin on my face when I arrived at the shelter all those years ago. I’m a happy soul, and I don’t let anything hold me back. If you choose me, I’ll truly be jumping for joy, like my photo above!
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
