Hi! I’m Gabina, a confident, friendly and independent girl looking for a home.
My story is one of severe neglect. My owner permanently chained me to the balcony of his house and left me for weeks at a time. No walks, no love and sometimes no food either. Fortunately, someone alerted Soi Dog who came to investigate. They were shocked to see the squalor I was living in and spoke to my owner who agreed to surrender me into their care. The chain was cut, and that’s when my life truly began.
Based on my difficult past and my wolf-like looks, people sometimes assume I’d be a bit of a toughie, but that couldn’t be further from the truth! I’m a friendly girl and enjoy gentle pets and affection from my human friends. However, I also appreciate having own space at times.
I’m looking for an experienced owner, with no young children, who understands what I’ve been through and respects my need for Gabina time every now and then!
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
