Hi! I’m Breezebar, a calm and friendly girl looking for a home.
Despite my name, life has been far from a breeze for me. I was severely neglected by my former family and arrived at the Soi Dog shelter in shocking condition. Every inch of my malnourished body was covered in fleas, and I was hanging on to life by a thread. My saviour was a kind neighbour who saw my suffering and reported me to Soi Dog. “I can't stand to see this dog dying,” they said.
After intensive treatment, plus lots of loving care, I made a remarkable recovery. I think you’ll agree, I look almost unrecognisable today! Now it’s time for me to find a new and true family who will cherish me and make sure I never come to any harm again.
I’m a pretty laid-back girl by nature. Give me a day cuddling on the sofa over a hike in the hills any day of the week! However, I do still enjoy my walks around the shelter and my time exploring the off-lead areas.

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
