As sweet as brown sugar

Hi! I’m Namtarndang, an affectionate, energetic and sociable girl looking for a home.

I was brought to Soi Dog by a kind lady who found me on the streets with cloudy, bulging eyes. She tried to help with antibiotics and eye drops, but sadly it was too late. My vision was already gone. At the shelter, the vets removed my eyes which were causing me great pain.

Fortunately, this ordeal hasn't hardened me at all. My name means “brown sugar” in Thai, which is very apt because I’m soft and sweet as can be! I love to share affection and will sit at people’s feet waiting for chest rubs and cuddles.

While I adore people, I’m really not a fan of other dogs and haven’t been able to integrate with them at the shelter. With this in mind, I’ll need to be the only dog in your home. Not to worry, though. With all the love I have to give, I’ll make it feel like a full house! I will also need to keep my distance from other dogs when we’re out walking.

If you’re ready to open your heart to a blind dog, or if you’d like to know more about what it takes to care for a blind dog, please enquire below. I can’t wait to hear from you!
