Meet Fufu
Hi! I’m Fufu, a friendly and gentle boy looking for a home.
I was five years old when I arrived at Soi Dog Foundation after being discovered abandoned and with an enormous wound from bites by local dogs. The vets believe my wound could have been weeks old as it was chronic, leaving behind a scar after treatment was completed.
When we first meet, I may seem a little cautious, but I am interested and prefer one-on-one time than competing with other dogs for attention. Please be patient! I like to go outside for walks and will explore my surroundings calmly and confidently. I have no problems walking past other dogs or strangers. In the off-lead area, I will calmly explore the environment and approach to be petted when called.
As I've had a tough life, it may take a little time for me to settle into your home, but I'm sure there's nothing I can't adapt to with your care and guidance (and a few loving ruffles of my scruffy fur)!

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
