Hi! I’m Rosario, an affectionate, energetic and playful boy looking for a home.
I was rescued from the woods where I'd got my hind leg caught in a snare trap. This cruel contraption was intended for wild animals like boar, but I fell victim instead. The vets at Soi Dog tried so hard to save my leg, but it was too late. The damage was too severe, and infection had already set in.
Fortunately, I’ve adapted well to my amputation and could give most four-legged dogs a run for their money! I love to zoom around Soi Dog’s off-lead areas and splash in the pool too. However, I prefer to do these activities alone with my human friends and no other dogs.
You see, I can be particular about the dogs I do and don’t like. Fortunately, the adoptions team are expert matchmakers and can advise if I’d be a good fit for any dogs you have in your home, so please get in touch if you might be interested!

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
