Hi! I’m Chibolo, a cautious yet playful boy looking for a home.
I was rescued from a landfill site when I was two months old. Weak, feverish, anaemic and covered in mud, ticks and fleas – this is the awful condition I was in at the time.
Fortunately, I got the care I needed at Soi Dog, and I grew stronger and healthier by the day. As I was rescued at such a young age, I don’t really know a life outside of the shelter. As scary as that might seem to a cautious boy like me, I’m still eager to get out and explore the world at my own pace.
I can be shy during new encounters, but I’ve come on leaps and bounds over the years. Although that frightened little pup still lurks beneath the surface, my confidence has really grown, and I’m more than ready to join a family.

THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
