Hi! I’m Demi, a friendly, confident and sometimes cautious boy looking for a home.
I accidentally got caught in a snare trap in the jungle. It was meant for wild animals like boar, not street dogs like me, but I accidentally stepped inside and my leg was badly damaged. I had to endure the agony of the wire cutting into my leg for a while before someone found me and contacted Soi Dog for help.
At the shelter, my leg was amputated, and I recovered well. I still lift my back leg when I pee, so I do an interesting balance on two legs which people find amusing. It's my party trick!
I'm a pretty confident boy, and I enjoy going for walks. I can sometimes be spooked by unfamiliar places and sounds but, with your love and support, I'm certain I'll get used to my new world. THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
