Could Cujody be the one for you?

Hi! I’m Cujody, a gentle and quiet girl looking for a home.

While living on the streets, I got caught in a snare trap. These horrible contraptions are usually set up to catch wild animals like boar, but street dogs like me unwittingly fall victim to them too. The snare snapped around my front left leg and caused a horrible wound.

Soon after I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter, my leg was amputated, relieving my pain and ultimately saving my life as I was on the verge of septic shock from the infection.

It might surprise you, especially if you haven’t seen many three-legged dogs like me before, but I adapted to the amputation with ease. I enjoy my walks and can really get some speed up when I want to! I do stop sometimes, either because I’m feeling tired or because I’m feeling a bit wary of my surroundings. However, with some patience and encouragement from the person I'm walking with, I'm soon moving again.

As well as my pretty looks, people love my slightly shy yet sweet personality. I say “slightly” as I can usually be won over easily with a treat or two. So get the snacks ready and hit the yellow button below!
