Hi! I’m Camy, a curious, friendly and playful girl looking for a home.
When I was just 10 weeks old, I was abandoned on the streets alongside my brother. Tiny and defenceless, we soon fell victim to two nasty viruses – parvovirus and coronavirus – which made us very sick indeed. Fortunately, Soi Dog has a special isolation unit for parvovirus pups, and it was there that I made a full recovery.
As I’ve grown up at the shelter, I don’t know much about the outside world, but I’d love to learn. I’m confident in situations I know and have a cautious curiosity in situations that I don’t, which stands me in good stead for life in a home. I just ask for your patience and love while I take things at my own pace.
I have a generally easygoing and friendly demeanour, with a playful streak when the mood takes me! I’m particularly playful with other dogs, so if you have some in your home already and they complement my personality, that could work well. The adoptions team can help advise on that when you enquire below!
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
