Hi! I’m Oona, an energetic, friendly and gentle girl looking for a home.
I came to Soi Dog in a terrible state, having been hit by a car. My left hind leg was fractured, and blood was pouring from my nose and mouth. The vets rushed me into surgery, stemmed the bleeding and put my bones back together with a plate and screws.
The whole ordeal left me frightened for a very long time. However, with a lot of love from the staff and volunteers here, I’ve gradually relaxed and become the happy girl I always deserved to be.
These days, I love going for walks and running around off-lead – the only times I stop are to sniff a particularly interesting patch of grass or to get some scritches from the person I’m with! I’m always smiling my sweet smile, and my tail wags almost non-stop. Now, the only real reminder of my ordeal is a scar on my leg.
While I am happy here, nothing can ever compare to a home. I’d make such a lovely companion, so please consider me if you’re looking to adopt!
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
