Hi! I’m Aminda, a curious, playful and sociable girl looking for a home.
I was born behind a busy shopping centre and was in all sorts of danger – from fellow street dogs, cars and unwelcoming people. Fortunately, someone alerted Soi Dog who sent a rescue team to bring me to safety.
I was just a seven-week-old puppy at the time, and you can see a cute photo of me in the slideshow above. Sadly, I haven't left the shelter since the day that photo was taken; I've grown up here and it's all I really know.
Over the years, I've blossomed into a beautiful character, with big ears and an even bigger heart. I enjoy meeting new people, walk well on the lead and take any opportunity to play. Sometimes it's hard to get me back to my enclosure as I'm having so much fun!

THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
