Hi! I’m Zued, a confident, curious and gentle boy looking for a home.
I was rescued from extreme neglect at the hands of my ‘family’. They locked me outside my ‘home’ without food or water, and I was reduced to little more than a pile of bones. I had lost all hope of ever knowing a better life until Soi Dog came and rescued me. You can see a photo of me on arrival at the shelter in the carousel above – you’ll hardly believe it’s me. Please note that the photo is upsetting though not graphic.
Since then, everything has changed. With the right care, I’ve grown into a handsome, healthy boy who wins the hearts of everyone he meets. It took me some time to trust, but now I approach people confidently and look forward to exploring on my walks.
It’s amazing how far I’ve come. However, I haven’t come this far to only come this far! The next step is to find a home where I can live comfortably knowing that I’ll never come to any harm again. Can you show me what family really means?
THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
