There’s no other dog at the shelter quite like me!

Hi! I’m Weewy, a calm, gentle and slightly shy girl looking for a home.

I arrived at Soi Dog when I was just two months old (take a look at my arrival photo above – you will melt!) Life on the streets is tough for any puppy, but I was born with complications which made it even tougher. My right eye was small and shrunken, and my right front leg was malformed.

The vets at the shelter decided to remove my eye but not to amputate my leg as I manage just fine and actually still use it for balance sometimes. Now I’m a uniquely beautiful girl – there’s no other dog at the shelter quite like me!

I can be shy when I first meet new people, but I’m oh so sweet and friendly once I trust you. You’ll know you’ve cracked me when I roll onto my back and ask for belly rubs. I can also be nervous on my walks and prefer to have another dog from my enclosure tag along as their presence gives me confidence.

I’ve been at the shelter for a long time now – near enough my whole life. I’d love to finally find someone who loves me just as I am, for all my quirks and in all my beauty. Could that be you?
