Small but mighty!
Hi! I’m Tonie, a friendly, confident and small-but-mighty boy looking for a home.
In a very traumatic turn of events, I lost half of my left front leg in a road traffic accident. By a stroke of luck, Soi Dog had a mobile team in the area at the time, and when they found me they transferred me to the shelter for the critical care I needed. This included the amputation of the rest of my leg which was badly infected and painful.
Despite this big change to my little body, I’ve adapted well and go for regular walks just like any other dog. I like to take my time on my walks, stopping here and there to rest. Sometimes I prefer not to walk at all and so the volunteers will carry me back to my enclosure instead. Luckily, I’m only 11 kilograms, so I can be scooped up quite easily. It’s also a good excuse for some extra cuddles if I’m honest!
If short walks and long cuddles are your thing too then I, lil Tone, might just be the boy for you. Please enquire below – I’d love to hear from you.
