Hi! I’m Sweetblack, an energetic and friendly girl looking for a home.

I was found lying helplessly in the middle of the road after being hit by a car. Fortunately, a kind person called Soi Dog for help and a rescue team collected me. With multiple fractures, I needed surgery to get back on my paws again, but I got there eventually.

I’m now more than ready to find a forever family and start life as a precious pet for the first time. I’m just as sweet as my name suggests, especially when I get to know someone, so I’d make a great family member.

Because of my ordeal, I have a slightly uneven gait and a decreased range of motion in my hips. It isn’t very noticeable, but I will need my future family to keep an eye on this – making sure I stay a healthy weight and don’t overexert myself. I still enjoy going for walks and playing in the off-lead areas, so much so that I’m reluctant to go back to my enclosure sometimes!

Initial enquiry

Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.

Interview

Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.

Home Assessment

Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.

Adoption agreement

Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.

Travel arrangements

Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
