Hi! I’m Snowman, an affectionate, playful and all-round good boy looking for a home.
I arrived at Soi Dog in a world of pain. I’d been hit by a car two days before, and the impact left me wounded, bruised and fractured. The vets had to build me back up again – just like a snowman!
After months of treatment, surgery and rest, I was well enough to move from the hospital to one of the shelter’s special care kennels which was purpose-built for special dogs like me. I spend my days here cuddling with my carer, going for walks and waiting for the perfect person to come along and take me home.
As you can see, I get around just fine for now. However, I will need a wheelchair at some point in the future as my left hind leg and hip aren’t the strongest. That might sound like a big deal, but I promise it’s not. I’m up for the challenge of wheels and can assure you that I’ll be wagging that surprisingly bushy tail of mine no matter what!

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
