Hi! I’m Ranga, an affectionate, bold and playful boy looking for a home.
A kind lady reached out to Soi Dog for help after she found me alone and limping, unable to use one of my hind legs. She didn't know what had happened to me, but the chances are I’d been the victim of a horrible road traffic accident. Sadly, my leg was too injured to be saved, and the only option was to amputate. I try not to dwell on my sad past and instead choose to focus on a bright future with a family of my own, which hopefully won't be far away.
Having three legs doesn't stop me from being a very happy and energetic boy. One of my favourite things to do is play, so if you happen to have a garden or an off-lead area close to home, that would be great. I also enjoy smothering people in kisses and cuddles. I just love humans so much, but my jealous side gets the better of me sometimes, so it’s best if I’m the only dog in your home. I also need a home without young children.

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
