Part street dog, part llama!
Hi! I’m Karajan, a curious and independent girl looking for a home.
Us street dogs are a beautiful genetic mix, but I feel I’m particularly unique. I was gifted the short legs of a corgi and the long neck of a llama, plus a classic Thai ridged back for good measure. What a combination!
I was brought to the shelter after being found on the streets with no one to care for me. Being a small girl, the Soi Dog team knew life would always be a struggle for me out there and decided it was best I stay at the shelter until I found a home.
I’m still adjusting to shelter life, and I’d say I’m doing well. I can be wary sometimes, but I’m willing to explore, and I even feel comfortable enough to get the zoomies sometimes. You’d be surprised how fast these little legs can go.
However, nothing can compare to a home, and that’s what I dream of finding. I’ve pulled out my best poses and hit all the angles in the photos above in the hopes you’ll notice me and make my dream come true.
THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
