Meet Juvia
Hi! I’m Juvia, a cautious, gentle and sweet girl looking for a home.
I was two months old when I arrived at Soi Dog Foundation with my mum and two siblings after we had been sterilised by one of Soi Dog's mobile units. During our examinations, my sister tested positive for a few viruses, so we were all brought to the shelter for treatment and safety. Since then, all I have known has been life in the shelter.
When we first meet, I may be a little shy and cautious, but I am interested, so please be patient. I like to go outside for walks and prefer quiet areas. I do like being petted and it may help me feel comfortable.
As I've never lived inside a home before, everything will be new and strange at first, but I'm sure there's nothing I can't adapt to with your love and guidance!

THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Adopting from Soi Dog Foundation is one of the most effective ways to support our work, as each adoption creates the space we need to help another animal in need. It is also incredibly rewarding to give an animal the chance to experience the love and security they so desperately deserve.
Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
