Hi! I’m Bifur, an affectionate, energetic and playful boy looking for a home.
My three siblings and I were found living at a beach by a busy road. It’s suspected we were abandoned as we were only eight weeks old yet there was no sign of our mother. With no one to protect us, we’d become skinny and infested with ticks. It was such a relief to be brought to the Soi Dog shelter for safety and care.
Two of my siblings have since been adopted, and I’m really hoping it’s my turn next as I have a lot to offer. The staff here describe me as “passionate” because I give my all to everything I do, whether that be walking, playing or simply sharing love!
I can be wary in new situations or spooked by unfamiliar noises, but I think that’s normal for a dog who’s only ever really known life in a shelter. I’ve shown that I can overcome these challenges, and I’m ready to see what the world has to offer. Please enquire about me, Bifur, so I can bid the shelter bye bye furever!
THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Initial enquiry
Submit an adoption enquiry, answering some initial questions about your family, lifestyle and ideal companion.
Interview
Join a video call with one of our adoption coordinators to help find your perfect match. Discuss the dog’s medical history, behavioural needs and more.
Home Assessment
Complete a home visit – either in person or virtually – with one of our staff or volunteers to ensure you have everything in place to welcome a rescue dog.
Adoption agreement
Sign the adoption agreement, confirming your commitment to the care of your chosen dog.
Travel arrangements
Let our logistics team arrange your dog’s journey to you. Collect your new best friend from a pre-arranged location and enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
