Soi Dog rescued this handsome boy just in time. He was captured by dog meat traders and was just moments away from a cruel and horrible death. Manfred was very nearly slaughtered and sold as dog meat.

When he arrived at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Manfred was severely malnourished, anaemic and had a horribly infected eye, which sadly had to be removed. But because there are people in the world like you who think he deserves better, Manfred got the shelter, affection and medical care he had been so cruelly denied.
